MARIA GRACIA JAPAN is a brand that brings Higo Zogan—a traditional craft from Kumamoto with over 400 years of history—into modern lifestyles.
Developed alongside samurai culture in the early Edo period, Higo Zogan is known for its refined beauty, created by delicately inlaying gold and silver into iron. In 2003, it was officially designated as a National Traditional Craft of Japan, and its artistry continues to this day.

The name MARIA GRACIA combines two women—Gracia Hosokawa and Maria Kiyohara—expressing a wish for peace and spiritual richness.
